This is a neat little puzzle game which I hoped would get the kids off screens for a while and try something different. You get the playing board plus lots (and lots) of little cars and a carry bag. At the moment, it's selling for about £35.My first impression was that the instructions were a bit rubbish - I don't know what it is about how they're written but they're hard to follow and not intuitive at all. You read them over and over again and it's not well explained. In fact, it's better to just have a go with the first couple of levels and see how you get on. It makes a bit more sense about skipping between modes and levels after you've got a feel for the game. For each level, the small display at the top tells you where to place the cars. There are different colours to indicate size and whether the cars are placed horizontally or vertically. However, there is nothing on the screen to tell you whether you have actually put them in the right places - it relies on you matching everything up. It would be so much better for the game to tell you where each piece needs to go, confirm that they were all correct and then start the level. As it is, you can very easily place a piece incorrectly without realising it.The main car (red) is meant to slide from one side of the board to the other with nothing in the way - again, however, you could just pick up the car and place it in the "parking" area and the game would think you've completed the level. It would be so much better if the game knew whether you had actually solved it rather than just picking up and moving pieces. Of course, it's only cheating yourself if you do this but kids aren't always the most patient players! There are tons of levels so you can theoretically play for a long time - however, the leaps in difficulty are not very high. Our kids moved from easy to medium to hard and solved all of them after a few goes. There's also not a lot of variation as the red car always has to slide across the centre.Overall this is a fun toy to pass a bit of time but, at the same price as a newly released video game, I can't see it being a realistic replacement for most kids for very long.We played this game on an app before and it was fun, especially when you reach to a higher level. This game has the same concept as the app, except the board is fixed in size (quite small too) and you will need to set up each game yourselves. It has 3 modes to choose from: teaching mode, game mode or timed mode. To set up the game place the cars as indicated on the LCD screen. Once it's set you can start solving the puzzle, which basically is to get the red car out to the P area by moving the obstacle cars out of the way.Place the cars as shown on the electric panel then slide them around to release the red car. When the main car passes through the exit the music plays and you move up to the next level. It is quite fun to start with, the more levels you complete the more challenging it gets.Overall the game is fun to play, only that I don't really like having to do the set up by myself. It is easier to play on the app but if you don't want your kids to be using and playing games on the phone all the time I think this is a good alternative. £24.99 (after discount) is still a bit expensive. This is a great game that can keep you child entertained on their own for a while, or is great for adults to mess around with and get the brain working. The game itself is fun, you have to take the time to make sure you get the set up right as the game does not tell you if it is right or not which is a little annoying. The games itself is a good challenge and fun and builds up in difficulty which is great, however I just find that the game is a little pricey. You also require 3 AAA batteries which are not included. Overall the game is good fun though and I have enjoyed playing this. The game requires 3 x AAA batteries, not supplied, which are fitted in a battery box in the base. The basic game is very easy to understand, the display shows the position of cars on the grid and the aim is to get the red car to the garage on the right hand side by sliding the cars on the grid. Cars can only move backwards and forwards and it is important to position the cars correctly, the display flashes sequentially to show the correct orientation of the cars, so, for example, a four square could be two small cars positioned horizontally or two cars positioned vertically, and the display shows which way is correct. I did get rather hooked and spent well over an hour puzzling out the moves; some of the grids did at first seem almost impossible and the difficulty increased as each grid was solved. The game is best played laid on a table as the cars tend to slide about. The game is supplied with instructions and a storage bag, although we found it was best kept in the box as the on-off button was easy to press. It’s well made, simple to understand and mentally challenging to play. This games arrives in a decent box with the electronic plastic game board, 7 big blue cars, 11 small grey cars, 2 red 'main' cars (which are the same size as the grey ones) and a storage bag. It doesn't contain the 3AAA batteries required to play the game.Switch the game on and enter either the teaching mode, game mode or timed mode. Place the cars as shown on the electric panel then slide them around to release the red car. When the main car passes through the exit the music plays and you move up to the next level.Great fun, frustrating at times, on the early levels it takes as long to set up the board as it does to release the car, but once you have passed the initial 4 or 5 levels it becomes a lot more challenging. My young grandson discovered that if you pick up the red car and place in through the exit the game will play the sound and move you on to the next level, so a little cheating had to be watched for.It is entertaining and very similar to the computer game I have played.£39.99 is expensive but it is well made and entertaining
